Floyd Mayweather Announces Rematch with Manny Pacquiao
In unprecedented news, Floyd Mayweather announced on Instagram that we would be getting a rematch with Manny Pacquiao by the end of the year. This absolutely comes out of left field as we have not even heard of a next fight from Floyd after his decision win over the UFC’s Conor McGregor. Manny has been on somewhat of a tear, winning 3 out of his last 4 fights, retaining the WBA welterweight title in the meantime.

After finally fighting back in 2015, fans were disappointed in the outcome, as Floyd beat out Manny on a decision. Many people felt that the fight was too overdue, and both fighters were not in their absolute prime. As Floyd is looking to stay active and get another 9 figure payout, the only obvious choice will be Manny Pacquiao. As it is already September, Floyd promised us the fight will happen sometime at the end of the year. As we get closer and closer to December, one has to wonder when and where this fight will take place. Regardless of the details, it will be one for the ages, as Floyd has very little left to prove.
