Lineage is nothing new when it comes to Oakley as a brand. Through the years their emphasis on innovation and ingenuity has become a key part to their growth and success. Pushing their innovations to greater heights has always shown to be a focus, and the latest rendition and launch is no different.
Oakley has just unveiled their latest performance eyewear releases, which are geared towards cyclists. The Flight Jacket and Field Jacket are rooted in pure revolution. Bearing breakthrough technology all throughout its crafting, these appear to be another product that will redefine the landscape for sports performance eyewear. Both the “Flight” and “Field” Jacket models feature the new Oakley Advancer technology. The design features the first ever airflow innovation that was implemented to fight overheating and fog. This is actually a crucial design for the cyclists. With visions being crucial to the sport these can show to be truly exponential to the performance and success of the riders.
On top of focusing on reducing the fogging and overheating. Oakley has fitted the Jacket models with their Prizm lens. We just saw the Prizm lens all throughout the Winter Games, where they proved themselves just as pivotal as they are eye catching. This is the same technology that assisted the Oakley athletes in becoming medalists during the games. This is actually something we could see as well for many cyclists during the upcoming season.
Oakley touts:
“Flight Jacket is a dominant performance eyewear piece, both aesthetically and technically – with a striking open-edge brow that maximizes the upper field of view and creates a completely unique frame shape.
Field Jacket is a dual lens that offers the ultimate in performance for any on-bike experience in an optical-compatible design – providing athletes with prescription needs access to Oakley’s latest game changing products and innovations.”
The “Flight” and Field” Jacket models are available here. I personally look forward to seeing the impact these make on the performance going forward.
