The Black Keys Headline the 2024 Sundance Film Festival


The Black Keys (one of our favorite bands) had a two-night headlining performances at The Marquis Park City. The event, known as “The Premiere Series,” marked the official launch of the venue during the 2024 Sundance Film Festival. The collaboration between The Marquis Park City, LNE Presents, and set the stage for an unforgettable experience, with Gabe Carter opening the show.

The star-studded audience included notable talents like Emmanuelle Chriqui, Matt Bellamy, Bijou Phillips, Billy Magnussen, Will Forte, Pauly Shore, Peter Shore, Paul Oakenfeld, Caroline D’Amore, Lolla producer Brian Levy, Jason ‘Jroc’ Craig, Dylan O’Brien, Victoria Pedretti, Joel Michaely, and many more. Hailing from Akron, Ohio, the American rock duo, led by Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, delivered two nights of powerful performances, captivating the packed venue with their full band show and state-of-the-art lighting.

Each night, The Black Keys treated the audience to approximately 75 minutes of their iconic music, followed by an encore, demanded by the chanting crowd. The Marquis PC provided a unique and intimate concert experience, typically reserved for larger arenas, grand venues, and festivals. It was an extraordinary opportunity to witness The Black Keys up close., the world’s newest and first decentralized filmmaking ecosystem, added an interactive dimension to the event. It empowered creators and engaged concert-goers with its innovative platform, reshaping Hollywood decision-making. Red Bull energy and Tito’s Vodka enhanced the evening’s offerings.

Beyond their performances, The Black Keys were also in town to support a Lolla documentary featured at the festival and to promote their upcoming album. They shared exclusive previews of their new music with the enthusiastic audience, consisting of fans, tastemakers, VIPs, filmmakers, cinephiles, and locals.
