Steps for the ultimate green smoothie formula for a quick, nutrient-rich drink:

  • Pick one unsweetened liquid (1.5 cup) – Almond milk, coconut milk, soy milk, rice milk, hemp milk, coconut water, plain water
  • Choose one or more greens(1 cup) – kale, collards, spinach, swiss chard, beet greens
  • Choose one more fruits (1.5 – 2 cups) – banana, blueberrys, apple, raspberry, melon, mango, strawberry, pear, blackberry, peach.
  • One or more supercharge boosters – 1 tablespoon protein powder, chia seeds, flaxseeds, sesame seeds, avocado, hemp seeds, bee pollen, ginger, cinnamon, spirulina, chlorella, maca powder
  • Sweetener – raw honey, dates

My favorite pick in this category is the mix of almond milk, spinach, kale, pineapple, strawberries, chia seeds, flaxseeds, honey, water.

  1. Anti-oxidant rich Berry smoothie:
  • 1 handful of cranberries
  • 1 handful of blueberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 5 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup water/coconut water
  • 1 tblspoon Chia/flax seeds
  • Raw organic honey

Drink up this anti-oxidant filled smoothie to get an anti-aging treatment from inside out.

  1. Strawberry – Banana Smoothie:
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 banana
  • 5 cups almond milk
  • 1 cup water/coconut water
  • 1 tblspoon chia/flaxseeds
  • ½ cup dates
