Cyndi Lauper Celebrates "Let The Canary Sing"

Music legend Cyndi Lauper reveled in the debut of her documentary, “Let The Canary Sing,” at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival. The exuberant after-party unfolded at the Tribeca Cinema Center within Serafina Upper West on 77th Street. The date was Wednesday, June 14th, and the celebration ensued post the film’s screening at the iconic Beacon Theatre.

In the cozy embrace of the chic Italian restaurant, Cyndi was surrounded by an eclectic mix of loved ones, comrades, luminaries from the film industry, movie enthusiasts, and her extended family from Sony Music. The atmosphere was electric as Cyndi raised her glass in a toast with the attendees and later regaled the crowd with a spirited speech infused with the quintessential Lauper flair.

The guests were treated to a curated selection of fine wines, courtesy of the Sommsation wine connoisseurs, and savored the refined taste of Peroni Nastro Azzurro’s premium Italian lager and its non-alcoholic variant. The aroma of authentic Serafina Italian dishes wafted through the air as attendees indulged in a sumptuous feast. The indulgence followed the culinary delights in creamy Magnum ice cream bars. The evening was further elevated with cocktails featuring an all-star lineup of spirits, including Milagro Tequila, Hendrick’s Gin, Reyka Vodka, and Hudson Whisky.

The maestro behind the curtain, Roxstar Entertainment, renowned for orchestrating Hollywood’s stellar events, played host through its latest venture, the Cinema Center. This versatile hospitality platform was the stage for a week-long spectacle, celebrating an array of Tribeca’s standout films. The events spanned several of New York City’s culinary and nightlife jewels, including Bar Feroce at The Moxy Chelsea, Serafina at Upper West 77th Street, and Common Ground NYC in the trendy Meatpacking District, paying homage to the distinguished films vying for accolades at the annual Festival.
