Oh boy it feels go to be back at it! I’d have to say that these past few weeks have been exciting and a bit
stressful. I am happy to say those are good enough parameters for a well deserved drink. Keeping it simple, I’ve decided to go with Bourbon which happens to be one of my favorite spirit. Bourbon is sometimes lost on most folks, but I am not one to sleep on such an underrated hit.
I’m actually really excited to share with you guys a brand that I discovered almost a month ago and it has now become my first choice when available. Bourbon is almost always my go to spirit when I step out for the evening. It started when I was advised by a older buddy of mine that suggested that I always have a “go-to” spirit or beer. With that in mind I also wanted to stand out compared to everyone else. I eventually decided to settle on bourbons and whiskeys. There has always been this connotation that bourbons were the old mans drink but I beg to differ. I have found that bourbons tend to be copious in flavor and can be enjoyed before, during or after dinner. Better yet they are to be enjoyed for the hell of it!
Eagle Rare 10 year is a spirit that I tried a few weeks back and just had to share it with you guys. I was
first introduced to it on a whim during a business meeting with a friend. This meeting took place at a
cigar lounge, so I figured that they would have some unfamiliar bourbon or qhiskey brands to taste.
Eagle Rare was the first choice that stood out behind the bar. The first sip, which happened to be on the
rocks by the way, was a pleasant surprise! Immediately I could taste hints of honey, vanilla and oak.
From that point, it was love at first taste! Due to wanting to try new spirits, I try not to continuously
purchase the same bottles but this has become the exception.
Eagle Rare is one of my new favorites and if you’re into bourbons, it should be yours as well. Priced in
the $30 range, you will be purchasing a spirit that’s taste surpasses its cost!
Make sure to check out Eagle Rare for some great bourbon!
