Art. The human effort to imitate, supplement, alter, or counteract the work of nature. The conscious production or arrangement of sounds, colors, forms, movements, or other elements in a manner that affects the sense of beauty. That is what the dictionary defines art as, but the truth of the matter is that the word art can’t merely be defined in just a few sentences. Art doesn’t, and won’t ever have just one definition attached to it. It is to an artist, and to all of us what we define it to be as individuals. Art is viewed in an array of diverse and rare forms, while artists use their creativity to make things their own ‘work of art.’ Whether it’s photography, drawings, sculptures, or paintings, forms of art are as endless as the sky. Richard Zarzi, one of the most gifted artists of our time takes that endless limit to the next level with his work. Being able to call places as richly cultured as the French Riveria or London home, Zarzi’s work is continuously influenced by the charisma and appeal that he is surrounded by. Using iconic images of celebrities and icons in much of his work, Zarzi’s exclusive contemporary pieces ignite with colors, while putting the most creative twist on pop art. Having his work exhibited internationally from exhibitions in Monaco, Walton Fine Art in London, and Cannes Film Festival to just name a few to being featured in numerous publications such as Grazia Magazine, Zarzi has just begun to make his mark in the world or art.
